DNYA Stainless Steel is a trusted supplier of 309H Stainless Steel Sheets & Plates, a high-carbon variant of 309 stainless steel specifically engineered for enhanced strength and creep resistance at elevated temperatures. With its excellent heat resistance, superior oxidation protection, and high-temperature structural integrity, 309H (UNS S30909 / 1.4828) is ideal for use in furnaces, kilns, heat exchangers, and petrochemical systems operating under intense thermal conditions.
Backed by international standards like ASTM A240 and ASME SA240, our 309H stainless steel products are available in various thicknesses and surface finishes, with mill test certification and value-added services.
309H stainless steel is a high-carbon version of 309 stainless steel, designed for applications requiring superior high-temperature strength and improved creep resistance. It contains similar levels of chromium (22–24%) and nickel (12–15%) as 309 but includes a carbon content ≥ 0.04%, which enhances structural performance in elevated temperature service beyond 1000°C (1832°F).
Its excellent oxidation resistance, toughness, and mechanical strength make it a preferred material in the thermal processing, petrochemical, and power generation sectors.
Outstanding High-Temperature Performance
Sustains strength and stability in continuous service above 1000°C.
Excellent Creep Resistance
Withstands long-term stress at elevated temperatures.
Oxidation & Scale Resistant
Ideal for furnace linings and exhaust manifolds.
Non-Magnetic in Annealed State
Becomes slightly magnetic after cold working.
Good Fabrication & Weldability
Compatible with conventional forming and welding techniques.
ASME & ASTM Compliant
Suitable for pressure vessels and critical heat-related applications.
